On a Slate.

'Nirasha'

Ok! So for those who don’t know the meaning of the word imprinted above, it means:

• Hopelessness
• Gloom
• Disappointment
• Despair
• Frustration
• Let-down
• Despondency
• Dismay
• Discouragement
• Melancholy

To all those lovely people reading this blog,

  1. Can you share one such instance when you were hit by it the most?
  2. What did you do to overcome it?
  3. Do you know any fighter who was at the extremes of hopelessness and yet has emerged out as a winner?
  4. To what extent of ‘Nirasha’ a person can go? In what scenario it is justified?
  5. How do you tackle people who spread this malady around?

Tell me a story you have faced/witnessed/heard on Nirasha.

Words on a slate are never permanent. Lets rub off the traces of hopelessness from our lives.

I put skill points in attacks and now I am strengthening my defense

    3. Do you know any fighter who was at the extremes of hopelessness and yet has emerged out as a winner?
Yeah .. me.. Now I am a clan admin and respected by a lot of mafia war clan...

    4. To what extent of ‘Nirasha’ a person can go? In what scenario it is justified?
He plays mafia wars in dreams.. it is not justified...at all.. none should feel Niraash and Hataash and do anything extreme.

    5. How do you tackle people who spread this malady around?
Ice them... Kill them...of course in mafia wars...

  3. I had always thought I ll get into Xaviers.. I knew It wasnt out of reach because of the grades that I had and the extra curricular activities i had participated in! But when I saw clasmates who didnt deserve being there based on their credentials, i felt disillusioned and fell into pits of despair..it was a harsh moment...

I forced myself to look beyond what happened to me, focused on the positives... found new reasons, new things to pin my hopes on...

later, when i looked back I knew JU was anyday better than Xavs for more reasons than one...

Now when something of this sort happens i know "everything happens for our own good"

I dont know if this helped... but to me this incident helps me go on when the times are tough... because tough times dont last but tough people do!

  5. When my best friend stopped speaking to anyone, coz some1 ditched her.

I started reading lot of novels, listening to music etc.(This idea was inspired by Tanu itself)

She is trying to adjust with life, but from the bottom of my heart I can't call her as winner.

    She decided to commit suicide.

I myself don't know the way to tackle it,so I am helpless in her matter.

Check out this post its about her http://wannawritee.blogspot.com/2011/01/moment-i-despised-mankind.html

  6. hmmm... many such instances in my life.. but each time i come across a bigger hurdle, the previous one doesnt seem that big a deal...

also looking at one of my cousins, who had to go through a heart surgery, then suffered from epilepsy, got ditched by a girl and lastly had a liver transplant 3months back... every problem of mine vanishes into a tiny speck!

  8. I think Nirasha can be overcome with one's determination and positive attitude. Also people like you who atleast take pains to address suc an issue and try to eliminate such bad things from people's mind. Nice!!

  9. I maybe the cause of Nirashi...as in I am!

I promised my dear Preety to send her cross stich designs but I failed so I disappointed my dear sis!

The envelop of cross stich designs is still intack inside my table drawer in office...someday i wish i can send her na!

Another thing experiencing Nurashi? I always was in despair, frustration, dismay, in melancholy due to health problems of late!

"Nurashi", is it an Indian word Preety?
